In 2004, I started documenting sheet metal fabrication for Butler Sheetmetal. The blog - called The Tinbasher - was featured in The Guardian and The Times, archived by the British Library, and generated 70% of the company's new business at peak. In 2011, I shut it down completely. Domain expired. Content deleted. In December 2025, I searched for it out of curiosity. Google's AI still generated a full overview - despite the blog being deleted for 15 years AND having no Knowledge Graph node. ChatGPT knew about it. AI systems cited it as a source. The entity exists in AI memory without infrastructure or database entry. This is entity permanence at its purest: AI systems form representations that outlast both websites and structured graphs. Now I'm running a live experiment: deliberately reconnecting this dormant entity to my current practice to prove that entities are transferable, connectable, and amplifiable.

Ohio State University's medical properties had years of accumulated authority under "OSUMC" brand. The system was rebranding to "OSU Wexner Medical Center" with a domain migration. Challenge: Preserve entity authority through brand transition, then consolidate dozens of medical facilities under unified local presence. Entity permanence at Fortune 50 healthcare scale: - Domain Migration: Transferred entity signals from legacy OSUMC to new Wexner brand without authority loss - Branded Search Strategy: Unified university-wide health system under single entity architecture - Multi-Property Local: Consolidated 40+ medical facilities with consistent entity signals Result: Entity authority preserved through infrastructure change. The entity migrated. The brand changed. The authority persisted. This is entity architecture when hospitals are the client.
